For this assignment I was given the prompt of: Something new you thought-of, imagined or heard during the past year. Then we had to use it to create a book covers. One cover had to be inspired by another artist and another one that is not. This one is inspired by an artist. For my future job or aspiration I chose the quote : "At the center of everything we call the arts and children call, play is something which seems alive somehow" by Lynda Barry.

I also had to create another image with the same prompt not based off of any artists. I decided to go for an a more literal approach for that image.

I wanted the pieces to feel nostalgic and very childish and fun in nature so I included pictures of myself and I used the drawing art-style that Shantell Mitchell used and well as the colors Wade and Leta uses to really give a more childlike, creative and fun vibe to the images
